Lexus has announced the pricing of the 2016 Lexus RX 450h for Netherlands. The all-new hybrid crossover is available to order now in the country with prices starting from €69,990. Compared to the currently sold third-gen model, the all-new model is priced €8,300 higher. Deliveries will commence in January 2016.
The fourth generation Lexus RX range internationally includes three models – RX 200t, RX 350 and RX 450 h. The RX 200t comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, while the RX 350 sports a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 petrol engine, but neither of them are going to be offered in Netherlands.
The 2016 RX 450h sports a 230 kW (308 hp) Lexus Hybrid Drive hybrid powertrain. There’s a 3.5-litre direct-injected V6 petrol engine that produces 193 kW (259 hp) and 335 Nm of torque and is assisted by two electric motors. Thanks to this massive power output, the crossover can tow a load up to 2,000 kg. Fuel economy and CO2 emissions figures are rated 18.87 km/l and 122 g/km respectively.
The 2016 Lexus RX 450h is available in five trim levels – RX 450 h (standard), Business Line, Luxury Line, Sport Line F and President Line, with prices ranging from €69,990 to €91,990. Unlike before, all-wheel drive is standard. Lexus Safety System + package that includes a number of safety and assistance features like the Lane Departure Alert (LDA) system for instance, is standard across the range.
