New 3.0-liter diesel engine from BMW gives out 300hp and 600Nm
The BMW X6 and X5 are about to receive new year presents in the form of new engines – a 3.0-liter diesel engine that churns out a massive 300hp and 600Nm torque. The new rampaging torque monster is knitted to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission.
The new model will be called X6 xDrive 40d and X5 xDrive 40d. Though putting out such numbers, the new 3.0-liter is cleaner and burns less fuel. With reduced displacement, fees and taxes owed to the government are lesser.
If you’re an American reader, you’ve got to move on to the next post since this car is not coming to your country.
The new BMW X5 xDrive 40d and X6 xDrive 40d will be exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year.
