Nissan has released the first teaser video of the Gripz Concept ahead of its world premier at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (2015 IAA) next week.
Nissan says the concept builds on the company’s experience in production and development of crossovers. The Gripz Concept has been inspired by the ‘sleek’ modern world of road cycling and the legendary 240Z desert cars of yesteryears.
The concept features bold and striking boomerang-shaped daytime running lights housed in a compact headlamps, a large V-shaped front grille with a thick chrome strip with a prominent Nissan logo, muscular haunches and flared wheel arches with a character line running from the front to the base of the A-pillar.
Nissan claims that the design of the Gripz concept explores a new direction for crossover design aimed at delivering a new driving sensation. The Gripz concept could be a design study for the second generation Juke.
