Peugeot confirms production of the BB1

Peugeot BB1 will be produced. How weird could it look?

Peugeot did leave the world wondering if it was a car or a scooter, in the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show.

Peugeot has confirmed that they would produce the BB1 concept , which is a part of the five-year plan for brand re-visioning which they are working on right now.

It’s got weirdly curved glasses, motorbike inspired handle bars, LED lights and an electric motor under it, too.

Some call it a quadricycle than a traditional passenger car and the BB1 is expected to redefine personal transportation, with twin in-wheel electric motors in the rear and a unique tandem seating arrangement.

Peugeot will also launch a variety of new models this year, including the RCZ and the battery car iOn, along with a new version of the 408 sedan in China.

Well, we’d know how weird looking the BB1 is going to be only after Peugeot produce it.

Hold on, till then.
