Renault and Dacia have announced their plans for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (2015 IAA). Renault will showcase four new cars released this year, while Dacia will debut two new products.
The highlight of the Renault stand will be the world premiere of the new 2016 Megane. The Megane is set to enter the fourth generation and will be underpinned by the CMF (Common Module Family) platform from the Renault-Nissan Alliance. This platform should reduce the cost of production by as much as 30%, along with a reduction in weight.
Renault will also be displaying the new Renault Talisman in both the saloon and estate versions, following its reveal ahead of the motor show debut. The new premium offering from the stable of Renault will feature the brand’s latest design language and aims to take on segment leaders. The new Renault Espace and the Renault Kadjar will also make its presence felt at the Renault stand.
Dacia will highlight two new products at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Dacia will showcase MY 2016 Duster with added equipment levels and styling. The 2016 Duster range is set to feature the addition of Euro 6 complaint powertrain options.
Dacia will also debut the Easy-R automated manual transmission. Set to make driving easier, the two pedal automated manual solution will be offered on a range of Dacia cars. An automated manual transmission will be offered for the first time in the Logan, Logan MCV, Sandero and the Sandero Stepaway.
