Renault has revealed its first-ever pickup – the Renault Duster Oroch – and as the name suggests, it is based on the Renault Duster crossover. Except some styling modifications, it’s essentially the same till the B-pillar, past which sits a utility bed.
The mid-size LCV has been revealed as a double-cab pickup and gets a different rear fascia with distinctive taillamps and bumper, and addition of foglamps. The interior is largely carried over with just some minor revisions to the colour and trim.
The Renault Duster Oroch will be available with 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engines when it goes on sale later this year in Argentina. Transmission options are likely to be 4-speed automatic, 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual, and both 2WD and 4WD models are likely to be offered.
