The Renault Talisman premium saloon was unveiled Monday in France. The Laguna’s replacement will be offered in a station wagon version as well, and like the predecessor’s, the Talisman’s estate will likely add the ‘Estate’ suffix to arrive at its final branding.
Here’s a speculative rendering of the Renault Talisman Estate from Shoeb Kalania, previewing the car in a production-ready guise.
As the dimensions of the saloon itself have increased, the estate is also expected to grow in size and offer more boot volume. For reference, the Laguna Estate which it replaces, offers a boot space of 508 litres, which can be increased to 1,593 litres with rear seats folded. The overall design and styling will be same as the saloon, save for the extra overhang and the D-Pillar. The estate model’s spyshots have already revealed some of the exterior and interior, which overall, is downloaded from the sedan.
Top features on the estate would be the new steering wheel similar to the Espace, a digital instrument panel, R-Link 2 infotainment system with a touchscreen tablet display and multi-function rotary control.
The Renault Talisman Estate has been confirmed to be unveiled at the 2015 International Motor Show (IAA 2015) in Frankfurt in September.
