Worldcarfans users Simon and Abel1969 have photographed the Talisman in Douai, France.

Set to make its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt motor show, the Talisman is equipped with a modern design, long list of equipments and frugal engines.

The Talisman gets full LED headlights, unique C-shaped LED daytime running lights with the prominent Renault logo, while the rear features an LED strip light design with chrome finished exhaust tips.

The interior design has taken inspiration from the Renault Espace. Renault has sought help from Daimler to verify the quality control process, to make it a well-built model. It gets an 8.7-inch touch-screen infotainment system and a central instrument display, along with a head-up display. Renault claims the Talisman to be best-in-class in cabin space and storage capacity, and it gets a boot capacity of 608 liters.

The Talisman is to be offered with two petrol and three diesel 4-cylinder engines. The TCe turbo petrol is offered in 148 bhp and 197 bhp versions, with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. The dCI diesel engines are offered with a 109 bhp, 128 bhp and 158 bhp power output with either a six-speed manual or six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Talisman offers 4-wheel steering which is a first in its segment, called as the 4Control system. It also gets adaptive dampers for varying the ride quality, based on the driving mode.
