The next generation Mercedes A-Class looks like a minimized concept fascination
The scoop masters at Autobild.de have teamed up with design house Larson to produce an image of the forthcoming Mercedes Benz A-Class compact car. If the car, which is scheduled for an October 2012 launch, looks exactly like Larson’s rendering, then we expect it to sell like popcorn.
Hot as the sun, the new small car takes a totally different approach. Mercedes Benz will make the car longer, and it will sit much lower lowering the centre of gravity and improving handling. The extra length will generate more room at the rear.
The A-Class needs to be careful of the competition which lays ahead from the next generation 1-Series and Audi A3. It going to be a tight one. Should the A look this good, we don’t foresee many problems.
