Rolls-Royce has introduced the ‘Inspired by Film’ special edition Wraith coupe. Announcing the new special edition, the company brags on the Bespoke Audio system it offers on the Wraith, saying that it’s “the most exhaustively designed sound system in automotive history”.
Complementing the Bespoke Audio system, is a Lyrical Copper exterior paint finish. Inside, the speaker grilles are finished in copper theme and engraved with the words ‘Bespoke Audio’.
The chaplets on the clock feature a combination of copper and silver, while the radial lines of the outer bezel echo the look and feel of vinyl records. Door panniers and floor mats have been crafted from finely-woven leather. Going with the theme, are also the copper-coloured door inserts.
The Bespoke Audio is a high-end music system developed from scratch in two years’ time. The 1,300-kW, 18-channel system comprises of two bass speakers, seven tweeters, seven mid range speakers and two ‘exciter’ speakers hand-fitted in the coupe’s headlining. The volume and tone settings are automatically adjusted as per the ambient and exterior noises monitored by the microphones.
“Wraith ‘Inspired by Music’ appeals to those looking to Rolls-Royce for unique and creative motor cars. Its effortlessly cool appearance complements the superior Bespoke Audio system; the contemporary use of copper creates an atmospheric setting for the most encompassing music system on the market,” commented Torsten Müller Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
