The currently sold Renault Koleos didn’t appeal to the European and several global markets like Renault would have hoped but this will change with the next generation model. A fresh report from Largus.fr reveals several new details and throws light on the previously reported details about the Koleos which will be very European in design and styling.
The second generation Koleos will essentially be a larger Kadjar. It will get larger with a length of 4.65 m, and provide seating for seven passengers, helping it achieve a stronger position in its segment. The boot space will be around 140 litres, indicates the report. It will feature Renault’s latest design language and the overall character will be reminiscent of the Kadjar and the Espace, with the rear quarter glass similar to it.
The next generation Koleos will be based on the CMF-D platform which is developed by the Renault-Nissan Alliance for large vehicles. According to a recent report, the French automaker is planning to offer Initiale Paris models of its entire range. So, a range-topping Initiale Paris model with all luxurious amenities the company has to offer, can also be expected on the Koleos.
