This is the Skoda Superb Combi vRS, the performance variant of the 2016 Skoda Superb Combi digitally imagined by Remco Meulendijk of RM.Design. Except a few modifications like the 2-piece front splitters and sleeker LED foglights, all modifications are same as the Octavia Combi vRS.
The third generation Superb’s Combi (station wagon) version was revealed in May and will have its public debut at the 2015 International Motor Show in Frankfurt in September. Unfortunately, the Superb Combi vRS remains nothing but a dream for now, as even the hatchback is not getting a vRS variant due to lack of demand.
However, Skoda CEO Dr. H. C. Winfried Vahland has confirmed that the all-new Superb will get a sportier model. “We are thinking of making a ‘Sport’ model. I am not saying a Sport line (RS), but let’s say at least a sporty look”, he said.
This ‘Sport’ model will be more or less be about its visual effect, like the Monte Carlo line on the smaller Skodas that comes with two-tone shades and upgraded wheels.
The Superb sport model should debut in 2016.
