Thanks to our friends at Carplace Brazil, we’re able to bring you the first clear shots of the 2011 ‘Novo’ Fiat Uno with absolutely no camouflage.
The new Fiat Uno will be launched on April 18th. The technical specifications have been discussed in a previous post and images of the interiors have also been shown on Steering News before.
The new Fiat Uno will be offered with a 1.0-liter and a 1.4-liter flex fuel engine. At launch, the 1.0-liter 75 bhp and the 1.4-liter that delivers about 100bhp is expected.
It will debut in Brazil and probably in the other South American markets over the new few months. The new Uno is expected to be the starting point in the Fiat range, but blogs based out of South America say the possibilities of this model coming to Europe is less as the Fiat Panda is working well as the entry-level Fiat.
The Fiat Uno will appeal to the younger buyer with its funny shape and funky factory-pasted decals and the bigger and more expensive Doblo’s silhouette. The budget hatchback (almost looks like a mini SUV) will offer a good amount of rear legroom and boot space. The interior spy shot conveyed the presence of thick steering wheel, single dial display and dead pedal leading to us to a conclusion that the new Uno will be easy and simple to drive.

All FIAT-lovers in India are waiting for this beauty to rule the roads of India in “seductive” characteristics, even other auto-fans to fall for it. The FIAT-lovers like me have already fallen in love with this machine carried by “sexy” curvy body……..It should be launched in India before July 2011 in 1.3MJD and 1.4 petrol 90bhp varriants, ofcourse with ABS/EBD and 15″alloys. Don’t change the design for Indian customers, we also can pay for European or American designs…….mind this and hope FIAT-INDIA is listening.
