Spied – More images of Ssangyong Korando

Noticias Automotivas reports that the Ssangyong Korando, the troubled Korean auto manufacturers next unveil, can be seen running around Seoul with no camouflage.

The latest batch of spy shots convey a very pleasing design even in the absence of studio lights and image corrections. The Korando will sit below the Actyon, NA adds.

We’re not sure what engine is under this car’s bonnet. We assume it would be either a 2.0-liter diesel or the 1.8-liter gasoline unit that was presented on the concept car at Seoul last year. The petrol engine is capable of generating 175hp, more than sufficient for a mid-size crossover.

Nothing else can be determined at this point. The availability of semi-automatic transmission or a hybrid powertrain will be clear once the owner of Ssangyong is determined.
