Subaru has unveiled the Impreza Sedan Concept at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. This concept hints at the design direction future models from the company are going to take, including the next-generation Impreza due to come out next year.

The Subaru Impreza Sedan Concept is based on the automaker’s Dynamic Solid design language and is built on a new modular platform. The exterior is finished in Ruby Red metallic color with gloss-black garnish that lend it a sporty flavor. The sedan has seating space for five occupants with dimensions of 179.3 inches, 70 inches, 57.2 inches and 105.1 inches in length, width, height and wheelbase respectively.

The front gets the hexagonal grille which is flanked by the aggressive-looking hawk eye headlamps. The sides are characterized by flared fenders and a sharp character line that sweeps up at the rear giving the car a muscular persona. The wheels are 19-inch units that are in-line with the wheel arches and are meant to express the carmaker’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The character line coming in from the sides culminate at the tail lights which share their design with the headlights. A subtle boot lid spoiler and large round exhaust pipe complete the changes.

Both hatchback and sedan versions of the 2017 Subaru Impreza will enter production in late 2016.
