The Fit[Jazz] is indeed Honda's best-selling model in Japan and 6,46,000 isn't a small figure.
Honda has announced that it would recall 6,46,000 units of its Fit/Jazz Hatchback.1,40,000 vehicles from the United States and the rest from South America, Europe, South Africa and Asia have been recalled following a complaint about the power switch mechanism in the cars.

Looks like water can enter into the power window switch mechanism, which in certain instances could cause a fire.
A 2-year old was burnt in the UK last year which was caused due to the same complaint."The baby's mother had left the baby in the car while she'd carried the shopping bags inside, She'd heard the car alarm go off, had ran outside only to find her black Honda Jazz in flame."
