Nissan has started accepting orders for the 2016 Nissan NP300 Navara in the UK. The all-new model will be hitting showrooms by January next year with prices starting at £18,376.
The all-new NP300Navara is available in double cab and king cab configurations in a total of five trims – Visia, Acenta, Acenta+, N-Connecta and Tekna. The exterior comes with front and rear mudguards, tail gate spoiler, LED tail lights and load restraint hooks as standard. The load bed has been increased by 67 mm from the previous model for more capacity.
The NP300 Navara has received several mechanical changes and technologies that enhance comfort and capability. Chief among them is the inclusion of the five-link rear suspension for the Double Cab variant as well as electronic Limited Slip Differential (eLSD), Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control (on 4WD models). Noteworthy convenience features include steering-mounted audio controls, front electric windows, electrically adjustable door mirrors, rear ventilation and audio system with four speakers (6 speakers for double cab) with support for Bluetooth, USB, Aux and CD.
The safety aspect is addressed by ABS, EBD, Forward Emergency Braking (double cab), remote central door locking and driver, passenger, side, curtain and knee airbags.
Power to the Nissan NP300 Navara is supplied by 2.3-litre dCi diesel engine that is available in two tunes of 160 PS (158 hp/120 kW)/403 Nm and 190 PS (187 hp/140 kW)/450 Nm. Drivetrain layout choices include 2WD and 4WD and transmission options include 6-speed manual and 7-speed automatic.
For a limited period, the Nissan NP300 Navara is being offered with three years of free servicing which is extended to five years for loyal customers. Five-year/100,000 mile manufacturer warranty is standard.
