Jeep has announced a limited-edition Jeep Cherokee Night Eagle for the UK. The special edition will be limited to just 350 units and will hit showrooms later this week at an on-road price of £36,795.
The Jeep Cherokee Night Eagle features distinct black and grey elements on the exterior that make it stand out from the standard model. The front grille-mounted Jeep badge and fog light frames have been given a satin grey finish while the roof bars, Night Eagle name badge, 18-inch alloy wheels are finished in gloss black. The windscreen glass featuring a deep tint completes the exterior description.
The interior has been lavished with a leather steering wheel, leather upholstery for the heated front seats, electric lumbar adjustment for the driver’s seat, 8.4-inch Uconnect screen and navigation system with Bluetooth and a TFT instrument panel.
The Jeep Cherokee Night Eagle comes with an impressive list of standard equipment, including a 9-speaker sound system with subwoofer, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, electric tailgate, rear parking sensors, automatic headlamps with washer, rain sensing wipers and auto-dimming rear mirror.
Jeep Cherokee Night Eagle is powered by the new 2.2-litre MultiJet II turbo-diesel engine that delivers 200 hp and 440 Nm of torque. This unit is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission works with the Active Drive I 4×4 system to send power to all four wheels. The 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time and top speed figures are marked 8.5 seconds and 127 mph (204 km/h) respectively. The combined fuel economy is rated at 49.6 mpg (17.56 km/l).
