The 2016 Ford Focus RS that was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March could be priced from US$35,730 in the US.
Focusst.org forum member jerkstore accessed Ford’s online configurator that was apparently under construction and shared a picture suggesting that the starting price for the third generation high performance model’s base price could be US$35,730 when it goes on sale in Spring 2016 in the North American market.
Even if this price was flashed for demo/website code testing, the final price is expected to be around this figure.
In terms of performance, the all-new Focus RS will sit above the Focus ST which is currently priced from US$24,370. The new generation model is powered by the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine from the sixth generation Mustang.

The Ford Focus RS will be available in an exclusive Nitrous Blue, four-coat metallic finish, as well as Stealth Gray, Shadow Black and Frozen White.
The 5-door-only third generation model will be built at Ford’s manufacturing plant in Saarlouis, Germany for all markets, including Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and Africa.
