USA: BMW announces price hikes for three models

BMW has announced a minor increase in the prices of the BMW 4-Series, the BMW X1 and the BMW X5 in the USA.

There are four trim-levels of the 4-Series and all of them cost US$250 more now. All the three trim-levels of the X1 model now cost US$300 more. The X5 sDrive35i, the X5 xDrive35i and the X5 xDrive35d see a price bump of US$700 and the range-topping X5 xDrive50i costs US$1000 more now.

The 4-Series, X1 and X5 models are now priced from US$41,700, US$32,150 and US$54,850 respectively (including destination and handling fee of $950). New pricing will be effective from January 5th, 2015.

Woodcliff Lake, NJ – January 2nd, 2015… BMW of North America today announced a modest inflationary price increase for some Model Year 2015 vehicles, effective January 5th, 2015. The Destination and Handling fee for all models is $950 and is included in the following list for current and new prices.
