UK: Volkswagen Vans announce finance offers for new models

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles have announced new finance offers for the launch of its fourth generation Caddy and sixth generation Transporter models.

The company will be offering the new Volkswagen Caddy from £199 per month on finance lease or contract hire, similarly the new Transporter will be available from £245 per month. The finance offer will only be applicable to vehicles ordered before 30th September 2015.

The all-new Transporter will be available from £245 per month for the 2.0-litre TDI 84 PS (82 hp) Startline BlueMotion technology model.

All Transporter trim levels will feature Volkswagen’s BlueMotion technology as standard. This means that the entire range will feature regenerative braking, a start/stop system and low rolling resistance tyres to reduce fuel consumption. The all-new model will be available in a range of body options and gross vehicle weights to suit the different needs for businesses.

The sixth generation model will be available with the widest range of engine, transmission and equipment options. It will feature a 2.0-litre TDI Euro 5 engine in different states of tune. The engine will be available in 84 PS (82 hp), 102 PS (100 hp), 140 PS (138 hp) and 180 PS (177 hp) versions. Additionally, a 2.0-litre TDI Euro 6 engine that develops 102 PS (100 hp) will also be offered.

The all-new Caddy will be available from £199 a month for the 1.6-litre TDI 75PS (74 hp) Euro 5 Startline model. The company informs that this will be just a £10 increase in price from the previous.

The all-new model will be made available in three trim levels – Startline, Trendline and Highline with an option of a short or Maxi wheelbase. The Caddy has been designed to be value for money, incorporating comfort and safety innovations along with a new Euro 6 engine.

A new BlueMotion variant will also be added to the line-up featuring a 2.0-litre Euro 6 engine producing 102 PS (100 hp). It will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, returning 65.7 mpg (23.26 km/l) on combined cycle with CO2 emissions of 114 g/km. Additionally, all Caddy models can be specified with Volkswagen’s BlueMotion engine technology as an option, with regenerative braking and a start/stop system designed to increase fuel economy and reduce CO2 emissions.
